I love Tuomas but I honestly think he should choose the next singer of Nightwish carefully. If the band supposedly cannot support a singer who has commitments or could potentially have commitments, that could comprise the band’s plans, then they shouldn’t hire her in the first place or at least inform her about it. The next singer should be string-free because it seems Tuomas freaks out if the singer suddenly has excess baggage if the dismissal of Tarja and parting of Anette is any indication. I think it is unfair to the singer if he doesn’t make it clear the conditions in which she will have to agree if she was to continue with the band, which is basically being 100% dedicated to the band. Tuomas is an amazing composer and musician but his business dealings have a lot to be desired.
